re: haha, wait and see what Alyn does
...but i wonder, why 30%, tho?

re: well, why should she be attractive? or even likeable? that is not Sidhie's role. she's supposed to be a creepy semi-immortal witch whose initial good intentions have become murky with time. or were not even that good to begin with perhaps...

Indeed, this is getting really creepy now. :o I hope Nirin finds a way to stop her without sacrificing herself like that.

Maybe taking the "crown" from her and destroying it, would work? The "crown" seems to "connect" her to the Garden somehow. She has died a long time ago anyway by sacrificing her "heart" for this 'Garden'. I think, this is, why she became so cruel after a while.

It's time for her to rest in peace.

With Sidhie's death the wounds from the ancient Eugenics Wars will finally be able to heal and the suncurse will dissolve.

If however Nirin becomes the next Garden-Keeper she will have to sacrifice her heart as well and turn into a monster like Sidhie.

This reminds me a little on Astrid Lindgren's story "Mio, My Son". Here's the relevant Wikipedia-excerpt from the plot of the film "Mio in the Land of Faraway" based on this book:

"[..] From a whispering well, Mio learns that an iron-clawed knight from the Land Outside, Kato [..], has been kidnapping children and making them his servants by ripping out their hearts and replacing them with stone.[..]"

This is, what Sidhie did to herself... . She ripped out her own heart and replaced it with the Garden.
